  2. Dear Faith In Action:

Crippled by gallbladder disease (result of lack of dental care) twelve and a half years of no medical care to find it; gastroparesis, or a paralyzed stomach–which means DEATH–since it blew up twenty six years ago, equals an existence of nothing but suffering, lack of support, lack of understanding, blame of all my loss on me and finally social exile and isolation with nothing, no way to save myself while still being alive and in need.

Four and a half years thrown away in my apartment, I have begged 120+ people for help in everything and gotten nothing from anyone except further insulted and abused, in addition to having more false religious platitudes thrown at me than a platypus could eat in a year! At C.A.M.P. May 9, 2011 trying to get some food on my last strength and having asked employee Vera Carillo if they provided home needs for the needy, she gave me a card from Faith In Action that I had never heard of–and I can’t believe the way YOU’VE come through! After speaking with Mrs. Alma Friday, May 13, 2011, on Sunday, May 15, 2011, Beau and Paul brought me a glass-topped coffee- and end table set like nothing I’ve ever seen–must have cost $1200; they also brought me a loveseat–at least another $800–with the cushions all fluffed up on it, showing its newness; they also brought me a book stand and some bed pillows! No one has ever given me ANYTHING in my life–well with the exception of Phyllis up at Office Depot who gave me a swivel desk chair in 2009!

Insulted by so many people that I contacted G-PACT (Gastroparesis Patient Association For Cures And Treatments (http://www.g-pact.org) Friday, May 6, 2011; no one was available to answer the phone, but Carol got in touch with me on Saturday, May 7; she then put in the mail to me some booklets discussing gastroparesis I’d not even known existed for free. I picked them up out of the mailbox Sunday morning, May 15, they’d arrived in Saturday’s mail; they explain gastroparesis perfectly and were right on hand for me to offer to Beau and Paul when they arrived, as for Faith In Action to get full understanding of my physical limitations and why I need help! My intention had been to give them a second copy, but we got to talking and the time got away. Beau and Paul afterward prayed for me before leaving, and I’d needed that more than anything!

Four and a half years of everyone sitting back waiting for the gastroparesis to starve me to death with no way for me to change anything and me just begging for help trying to stay alive–and Faith In Action has been here to help me with support the whole time! In just one day, YOU have increased my value $2000! Now all that black cheap junk my family threw off on me can be thrown out of here! The tag on my car that I am past too worn out to keep driving without being able to eat and drink and no one to call on for help reads: Everybody Hates Debra; now, I’m changing it to read: FAITH IN ACTION!

Thank you again; and thanks again, Beau, Paul and Mrs. Alma!
